Based on its origins in two seaside hospitals on the Dutch coast, we developed the name Basalt. Positioning the new merged organization as a rock-solid support for patients in the region, we successfully established Basalt (formerly Sophia Revalidatie en Rijnlands Revalidatie Centrum) as a well-known name in the field of “the power of rehabilitation”.
